What is a Backyard Office Pod?

A backyard office pod is exactly what it sounds like; an office pod that exists in your backyard. The pod is set up like a tiny home. It’s small, cute, and placed in your backyard. The outside layer of the pod is made of glass so you can enjoy the refreshing views of the outdoors while doing your work. These office pods are made by Yard Adu.

 

What Kinds of Backyard Offices are there?

Yard Adu has three types of Backyard offices pods. Their office pods are: the zen office, the focus office, and the productivity office.

 

The Zen Office

The Zen Office is probably the most compact of Yard Adu’s options. Though it’s small, this office is perfect for those who don’t have much extra space. It’s also good for those who think better in smaller spaces, or those who are used to cubicles. This office has two glass sides that are great for looking out and admiring nature. What’s really fun about this office is that it’s built on site, too!

Cost: $27,900 Size: 103 sq feet, 13’ 1” x 7’ 10”

 

The Focus Office

Yard Adu’s Focus Office has a very open plan. The pod is a box that has four sides to it, with one having sliding glass doors/ windows on an entire side. This pod is very open and bright. People who like to have space while working would definitely love this pod. The pod is affordable and pretty big for a backyard office.

Cost: $26,900 Size: 120 sq feet, 17’ x 7’ 2”

 

The Productivity Office

The Productivity Office is best for those who want absolutely zero distractions. Whereas the other two offices have glass windows on at least one side of the pod, the productivity or backayrd home office doesn’t; it uses double sided mirrors instead of windows. Because of this, once you enter the pod, you’re in your own little world. You can see outside, but no one can see in. This limits distractions and keeps you on task. That’s why it’s called the productivity office.

Cost: $26, 900 Size: 120 sq feet, 16’ 6” x 7’ 4”
